The name of one of my magazines is Women's World. On the cover, they put a pink bar behind "Lose 20 LBS this week!", to make it stick out form the rest of the text. There is text on the cover that says "Ca$h For The Holidays!" The author put the dollar sign because it is talking bout money. They also made the text green to represent money. They also made the letters bigger and bolder. There are other titles of articles in the page, probably so the reader has an idea of what is in the magazine. Most of the articles in the magazine are about your health, and how to create healthy meals. For example, on pages 28-31 is an article that gives instructions on how to make various meals. It also shows pictures of the meals and discusses healthy it is. The cover shows a picture of a women holding vegetables and says it bold letters, "Loose 20 LBS this week!" I have chosen to design and create a magazine for my project. I believe that overall the magazine would be a better choice for me based on my skills and interests. For example, i am a descriptive writer which would be a good skill to have. By writing well and with a lot of description, i could create a very eye catching and entertaining magazine. I think that lack of experience with film technology has greatly impacted my decision to complete a magazine project. For example, I am not experienced in editing film which i think would have been a set back if i had done the film project. I made my final decision after looking over examples of previous submissions. I would also have a lot with fun taking the pictures that go on the cover of the magazine, and are displayed within the magazine. I also believe that i would be able to take good pictures.

The film project would be a good fit for me because I find it very interesting, and I think I have most of the required skills for it. I am creative so I would be able to come up with good ideas for the film. For example, I believe I would be able to create good dialogue for the actors. I would also contribute in the costume designs, filming, music, and more. I think it would be a lot of fun to create the introduction to a film, and even be an actor in it. A challenge with making the movie would be a lack of experience with the technology. I am not yet able to work a camera well enough to film a movie. With time and practice I could eventually become skilled in using the technology.

I believe the magazine project would be a good fit for me based on my skills and interests. Some of these skills include creativity and descriptive writing. I think i would be good at creating the design of the magazine. I am not very skilled in photography but i believe i would be able to take good photos for the magazine. I am a decent writer, and usually fairly descriptive. This would be a good skill for creating a magazine. Being a descriptive writer is important because you want a lot of detail so your readers are interested. I did not think the magazine would be a good a good choice until i saw an example of one from another year. Now that i have seen what is required i believe this project would be a good fit for me and my skills.
